K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake System, '05-'07 Scion tC

K&N Engineering has released a new Air Intake in flat black for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Scion tC 2.4 liter engine. K&N has selected a few vehicles from Toyota that have the hydrocarbon trap filters in the airboxes and worked with CARB's criteria to design emissions friendly air intakes. This Typhoon Air Intake System is equipped with a hydrocarbon filter in the air box, according to K&N Project Technician Nestor Cabrera. K&N's Typhoon Air Intake System uses the factory upper air box with the mass air flow sensor. This allows the consumer to retain the CARB mandated emission device. Other additions include a special high flow K&N Air Filter (E-3038) and heat shield. This intake delivers dyno-tested gains of 7.58 Horsepower. Engineered By K&N
